Martin joined Cofunds as CEO in June 2011. Before joining Cofunds Martin was CEO at Openwork, one of the largest financial advisory firms in the UK, with over 2,500 advisers, writing £300 million of premium in 2008. Prior to Openwork Martin was CEO of Zurich Financial Services’s Global Life Emerging Markets businesses, spanning Asia, South America and Middle Eastern markets. Martin also maintained overall responsibility for Zurich International Life, the offshore subsidiary of ZFS, as Chairman. Martin was also a founding Director of Zurich Takaful.
Previously Martin worked as Commercial Director for Sesame Limited, managing over 7,500 IFAs (25 per cent of the UK market). Martin was also a Board Director of Assureweb.
Before joining Sesame, Martin was Executive Vice President, of Corillian International Ltd and spent eight years working in various business management roles for Reuters plc. Martin also served in the Armed Forces for 10 years, reaching the rank of Captain, in many operational theatres including 5 years with Special Forces. Martin is a Non Executive Director of McKinney Rogers International, a leading strategy consultancy.
Alastair joined Cofunds at the start of 2008. His role involves evolving Cofunds shop window of innovative, market leading propositions, products and services and leading the sales teams work with our customers. His team is also responsible for all aspects of effectively marketing and communicating the Cofunds proposition to the marketplace and our relationships with Fund Managers. Alastair's previous roles include Head of Propositions and Commercial Development at Sesame and CEO of The Clear Group, a Financial Services Group based in London and Surrey. He has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years.
Vivienne Hole joined Cofunds in July 2010 and, as HR Director, is responsible for the full range of HR services. She was previously Director of HR at LIFFE, the global derivatives arm of NYSE Euronext. Prior to this she spent eight years running her own HR consulting business providing services to clients including EBRD, RBS Trustbank. Vivienne has over 25 years experience of HR, starting her career at British Gas HQ in Talent Management. She spent four years at Reuters where she was responsible for HR systems globally.
Stuart has responsibility for all aspects of the development and operation of Cofunds IT systems. He has worked with Cofunds since its inception in May 2000, initially with Cap Gemini, working on the design and development of the company's systems. Stuart has over 12 years experience of developing IT solutions for a variety of blue chip organisations, including Zeneca Agrochemicals, British Petroleum, BBC and Egg.
Stephen joined Cofunds in October 2005. Originally an Army Officer, he later joined ICL selling to financial institutions. Since then Stephen's career has included an MBA and working with Gemini Consulting, IT Director for RBS Trust Bank Ltd, Managing Director UK retail Funds for Bank of New York and Managing Director of Retail Funds for M&G and Prudential. Stephen's interim roles include Chief Executive of Royal London Servicing and Executive Director, Fidelity and Funds Network.
Mark Williams joined Cofunds in October 2009 as Finance Director and is responsible for Finance and Governance. With over 10 years in the financial services sector, Mark's previous roles include platform experience as Finance Director of Selestia since its launch in 2001 and of Skandia Multifunds as Finance Director of Skandia UK business unit.
