Faster trades with our online enhancements

The latest enhancements to trading online via Cofunds will help free up more of your time, so you can spend less effort on administration and devote more to business development.

You're now be able to:

Manage income - the choice of how to treat income from funds is now at product level rather than fund level, so all funds held within the same product are set either to pay income or reinvest it back into the funds

Selling units to raise cash - choose either the specific number of units you'd like to sell or the amount of money you'd like to raise and place a trade online

UT to ISA switch - perform a unit trust to ISA switch online and ensure your customer maximises the tax benefits quickly and simply

Empower your clients and let them enter their nominated bank details online to enable them to set up regular investments

Breeze through tax year end by placing and pending trades for either tax year from 1 March 2012

Take a look at our dedicated web page which explains all these enhancements in more detail.

Abolition of protected rights

From 6 April 2012 the Government intends to abolish protected rights and stop further contracting out for personal pensions. L&G are writing to individual pension investors to explain these changes in more detail, and to recommend to all those that turn 44 years old in the 2011/12 tax year that they consider contracting back into the State Second Pension.

You can find more information on the changes to Protected Rights at
